Hi everyone 👋 I’m currently studying Korean language in Seoul with a D-4 visa, and I recently got accepted into a university for a bachelor’s program starting next semester. I wanted to ask if anyone here has experience changing from a D-4 visa to a D-2 student visa inside Korea. What documents are usually required? How long does the process take? Do I need to show a bank balance certificate again? Is it possible to apply before the current visa expires? I checked the HiKorea website, but I’d really appreciate advice from people who already went through the process 🙏 Thank you in advance!
I just found their website while searching for halal food in Korea and the prices actually look pretty decent compared to some stores nearby. They also seem to have Pakistani/Indian groceries and delivery across Korea. Wondering if anyone here has tried it yet and how the delivery/service was?
Have you ever struggled with: ❌ Visa documents ❌ Korean translations ❌ Not knowing what papers are required Be honest… it’s confusing, right? 😅 What’s the hardest part for you right now?

I’ve been going to 2–3 different stores just to get basic stuff… Sometimes it’s too expensive, sometimes not available at all Would be nice if everything was in one place 🤔
What do people usually use to send money overseas? Options I heard about: • Gmoney • Sentbe • bank transfer Which one has the lowest fees ?
Moving to a new country can feel lonely sometimes. How do you usually meet new people here? • language exchange • sports clubs • expat groups • university communities
I tried using Coupang and Market Kurly , but some apps require Korean ID verification. How do other foreigners usually order groceries here? Do you use: • Coupang • local marts • foreign food stores Looking for the easiest option.
Some people say Ansan stores are cheaper than Itaewon. Have you noticed price differences? Example: Rice, spices, meat, snacks.
