Hi everyone, I was wondering — if someone suddenly gets sick late at night (like high fever or severe pain), where do people usually go in Korea? Are there hospitals in Seoul that are open 24/7 for emergencies , especially ones that are foreigner-friendly or have English support? Also: Do I need to call before going? Here are a few tips that helped me: ✅ Look for hospitals in areas like Itaewon, Gangnam, or Hongdae ✅ Search for “International Clinic” or “Global Center” ✅ Many big hospitals offer English support (some even have translators!) ✅ Apps like Naver Maps can show reviews mentioning English service 💡 Bonus tip: Always bring your ARC or passport when visiting
I went to a local clinic today in Hongdae and honestly the experience was really smooth. Things I learned: • Most doctors speak basic English • Health insurance makes it very cheap • Waiting time was only 10 minutes Has anyone else had good or bad experiences with hospitals in Korea?
