When you use the "Nearby" feature to find Halal Marts or nearby places, we request access to your device's location.

• Location is only accessed when you actively tap the "Nearby" button — we do not track your location in the background.
• Your coordinates are sent to Google Places API solely to find relevant nearby results.
• We do not store, log, or share your location data.
• You may deny location permission at any time; city-based search remains available without it.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Operate and improve Forpang
• Provide community features
• Respond to inquiries
• Analyze usage and improve user experience
• Prevent misuse or fraud
• Show nearby Halal Marts and places relevant to your current location (only when you explicitly request it)

We do NOT sell your personal data.

3. Community Content

Content you voluntarily share (posts, comments, feedback) may be visible to other users. Please avoid sharing sensitive personal information publicly.

6. Location Permission (Android App)

The Forpang Android app requests the following location permissions:

• ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION — precise GPS-based location for accurate nearby results.
• ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION — network-based approximate location as a fallback.

These permissions are used exclusively to power the "Nearby" feature and are requested only when you actively use it. The app does not access your location in the background. You can revoke location permission at any time in your device's app settings.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary to operate the Platform or comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account at any time.

8. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no system is 100% secure.

9. Third-Party Services

Forpang may link to third-party services. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.
