About

In celebration of Korea and Guatemala's 60 year (2022) diplomatic relationship, the Seoul History Museum will be hosting the exhibit "Maya : Sacred City – Tak’alik Ab’a". Tak'alik Ab'aj is a historical Mayan site in Guatemala that shows the transition between the Olmec and Mayan civilizations. The exhibition has 30 photos of the remains of Tak'alik Ab'aj as well as related videos and traditional Mayan costumes. This exhibition aims to promote knowledge and understanding of the Mayan civilization as well as Guatemala and Central America.
