The 11th Seoul Media City Biennale: Escape Day After Day

The 11th Seoul Media City Biennale focuses on themes of escape in today's mass media and invites 41 creators and teams from within Korea and abroad to introduce various forms of artistic content inside and outside of the exhibit. The exhibition, which opens at the Seosomun Main Building and stretches out to all over downtown Seoul, works to expand the concept of media through various works that experiment with a variety of perspectives and attitudes around the theme of "new relationships with escapism." This Biennale hopes to suggest a fresh perspective on the reality of escapism, and while self-reflecting, use these works as tools for navigation in the world experiencing a pandemic today.
