Delete Account

At Forpang, we respect your right to control your personal data. You can request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data using either of the two methods below.

Delete via the Forpang App (Recommended)

This method verifies your identity automatically because it requires you to be signed in to your account.

Open the Forpang app and sign in to your account.
Tap your profile icon to go to your Profile page.
Scroll down and tap "Delete Account".
Confirm by entering your password or tapping the confirmation prompt.
Your account and all associated data will be scheduled for deletion immediately.

Request via Email

If you are unable to access the app, you can submit a deletion request by email. To verify that you own the account, your email must include the following information:

Send from: The email address registered to your Forpang account
Your nickname: The display name shown on your Forpang profile
Your 2 most recent post titles: The titles of the last 2 posts you made on Forpang (this confirms account ownership)
Reason: A brief reason for your deletion request

Our team will respond within 7 business days to confirm your request.

What Data Will Be Deleted

Your account profile (name, email, profile picture)
Posts, comments, and community content you have created
Saved listings and wishlisted items
Any business listings associated with your account
Notification preferences and account settings
Login credentials and authentication tokens

Data That May Be Retained

Some data may be retained after account deletion:

Legal obligations: Data required by applicable laws for the legally mandated retention period.
Fraud prevention: Records necessary to detect or prevent fraudulent activity.
Aggregated analytics: Anonymous, non-identifiable usage statistics that cannot be linked back to you.

Any retained data is held for no longer than 90 days after deletion unless legally required otherwise, after which it is permanently purged.

Processing Time

Deletion requests are processed within 30 days of confirmation. You will receive an email notification once your account and data have been fully deleted.
